Dr Faith Richards Joining Compleet Aesthetics

We are extremely pleased to announce that Dr Faith Richards, will be joining Compleet Aesthetics in May to offer Botulinum Toxin Therapy (Botox) and advanced Dermal Filler procedures. Faith has over 20 years experience in medical aesthetic treatments having trained with some of the most experienced trainers in the world from the UK, US, Canada, Switzerland and Brazil. She believes in a 'little bit goes a long way' approach to achieve natural results working in a conservative way to enhance and improve her  client's features.

The techniques and products used in injectables treatments has significantly evolved within the last 5 years. It is no longer about just filling or smoothing out wrinkles. The precise application of specially formulated fillers injected in specific anatomical points in the face will  gently lift and contour the face  negating the need for  more invasive procedures. Known as 'point' lifts this innovative approach to reshape features and reduce sagging, can reduce wrinkles and help to prevent the emergence of new ones.

Dermal fillers  have also evolved. The primary ingredient of dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid. This is a natural polysaccharide polymer which is present in the human dermis. It has a hydrophilic nauture which means it will attract water which helps it to plump out and address volume loss. Dermal fillers come in different viscosities. They are crosslinked to stabilise  and  increase longevity. The more crosslinked the hyaluronic acid is, relates directly  to the  desity of the filler and how long it will last.  A high density filler can last up to 18 months, whilst lower crosslinked ones last 3-6 months.  This allows an experienced doctor like an artist with a palette of colours, a choice of suitable fillers to apply for a different area to correct contour defects and  provide support and structure.

Dermal fillers can be used in conjunction with Botulinum Therapy to achieve optimal results. The emergence of these new complicated techniques clearly demonstrates that advanced injectable  procedures should not be performed in unqualified or unskilled hands. Dr Richards before embarking on medical aesthetic treatments had over 30 years of dental surgery experience to underpin her knowledge of facial anatomy and nerves, which is fundamentally crucial  to ensure safe and desired outcomes.

If you would like to have a  consultation with Dr Richards  please email or call  the clinic directly. Strict confidentiality is adhered to at all times, and we now have a new discrete clinic at the back of the main building to offer privacy and  parking.
